We’ve mounted TVs on plasterboard stud walls, solid brick, concrete and tiled walls — and we carry the right fixings for each. We locate studs and structural anchors correctly, so the mount is genuinely safe regardless of the TV size.
A TV mount that isn’t properly fixed to the wall structure is a genuine danger. A 65-inch TV weighs 25–30kg. Fixed to a plasterboard cavity anchor rather than a stud — or to a brick wall without the right masonry anchor — it will eventually fail. This isn’t a minor inconvenience: it’s a serious injury risk, particularly in homes with children.
Electrical cables run inside a wall without proper termination or without an installed power point also creates compliance and safety issues. The right way to do this is with a licensed electrician and a certified power point installation.
